It’s that much-anticipated time of the year again—Fall Mini Sessions! As we long for colorful leaves and crisper temps, there's no better time to capture the beauty and warmth of your family with my Fall & Holiday Mini Studio Sessions. This season, I’m offering timeless setups that provide the perfect backdrop for classic portraits you can cherish forever. I’m shaking things up a bit this year to give you more flexibility and a lot less stress.
How Are This Year’s Fall & Holiday Mini Sessions Different?
If you’ve lived through a Texas fall, you know how unpredictable the weather can be. The hot humidity can often last until November and those holiday sweaters you were planning on become unbearable to wear. The rain and even clouds can ruin our plans. Mother Nature often had other plans in the past, making our outdoor sessions together challenging, sometimes needing to schedule 2 or 3 times.
So, this year, we’re moving indoors to my studio! No more checking the forecast every hour leading up to your session. Unless there's a major storm or hurricane (because this summer has been quite the ride!), we’re good to go!

2024 Build-Your-Own Mini Sessions
This year, I’m also introducing a build-your-own-session concept. Whether you want a family session or just a fun photoshoot for the kid(s), all my published dates are up for grabs. Pick the day and time and choose how many people will be in your session. You pay according to the number of people in your session!

What to Expect in the Studio
The studio serves as a neutral backdrop, but I’ll have a variety of fall and holiday-themed props for you to choose from. Want to keep it simple? You can do that too! Most outfits should work well with my neutral setups. Choose something that shows off a little style or color, or keep all the focus on those precious faces.
Note: Try to avoid outfits with words, too many conflicting patterns or scratchy or uncomfortable or ill fitting outfits for the kiddos because those will detract from your photos or lead to cranky kids. I lean towards a minimalist approach for more versatile portraits and maximum personality. The people should be the stars of the show! 🤩
