New Year, new me. Right?

I’ve trailed off from blogging for a very long time. Too long. The old blog site is a pretty outdated in style and content so I’m starting fresh. If you’d like the see the old blogspot, enjoy! Exciting, huh?

It was a good 8 year run over there but…

From here on out, this blog will be less portfolio heavy and more of a place for resources. If you came to see my photos, that is what my website portfolio is for. This new blog will be a place with you, my client, in mind. A place for information for all things newborns, kids, photography and even about our lovely town of Houston.

In 2023, I’m doing some major changes. Since 2009, 80% of my sessions have been family photography and birthday sessions. 20% of them have been newborns.

In 2020 when we built our studio, I’ve been slowly shifting towards focusing on more newborns and less family sessions. While I still plan on offering family photography, I have fallen more and more in love with newborn photography. Moving forward, my focus will be more on those tiny babies. From birth, all the milestones and that momentous first birthday. I’ll also still offer lifestyle sessions (in home newborn photography), as an option. But because studio newborn sessions run more smoothly and deliver a more consistent look, I’ll be primarily be doing sessions in the studio.

I’ll also be offering more maternity sessions for those mamas to be. I can do those outdoors or in the studio.
